The collections are protected by the Cultural Heritage Committe of Hungary
The collection is in the property of Eszterházy Károly College and stored by the Institute of Biology, Department of Botany and Ecology at the Lányka Campus of Károly Eszterházy College.
The Hungarian National Office of Cultural Heritage declared the Eger College Herbarium protected in 2007 (Decision nr. 401/0055/004/2007)
